HOLBROOK, N.Y., May 12, 2004: Future Tech Enterprise, Inc. – The Association of
Channel Resellers, the largest association of independent computer and
IT-related hardware manufacturers, value-added resellers, and IT solution
providers, announced the winners of its prestigious “NASBA Awards.” The awards
were presented recently at the Gartner System Builder Summit TM & VARVision®
conference and trade show in Dallas, Texas. Future Tech Enterprise, Inc., an
end-to-end IT solution provider, is the 2004 recipient of this year's award.
The NASBA Top Overall VAR Award is presented to the Value-Added
Reseller that ranks the highest overall across a variety performance categories,
including the deployment of successful and innovative new products or services,
dedication to exceptional processes to deliver outstanding customer service, and
a substantial commitment to exemplary community service. New York based Future
Tech beat out nearly 250 of the leading computer manufacturers, resellers, and
IT solution providers located across the United States and Canada in a highly
competitive selection process based upon detailed criteria, written submissions,
interviews, and independent research by NASBA.
“Future Tech's ContractOne asset lifecycle management solution is
extremely comprehensive, flexible, and positions Future Tech well for the
future,” noted NASBA Vice President Jim Niekamp. Future Tech also scored a rare
“double” by being named a Finalist for the NASBA Community Service Award. NASBA
CEO Doug Daniel observed that “Future Tech's work in establishing the Venero
Children's Foundation is perhaps the most innovative use of technology for a
compassionate purpose that we have ever evaluated for the NASBA Community
Service Award.” The Bob Venero Children's Foundation recently announced the
completion of individual “virtual offices” for each and every bed in the
Pediatric Department at Good Samaritan Hospital in West Islip, NY.
In addition, Future Tech was announced, for the fourth year in a row, to the
list of the “Top 25 Fastest Growing Firms in Long Island,” by KPMG, in addition
to being named to “LI's Top 50 Private Companies.” Bob Venero, Future Tech's
President and CEO, attributes its success and significant growth to a simple
tenet that he founded the company upon in 1996. “We don't have customers -----
we have business partners. When you engage with other companies on that level,
you're cultivating a symbiotic relationship. Their success is our success and
vice versa. It's a mantra that has served Future Tech well and will continue to
differentiate us in the industry.”
