Bill Kohler has joined Future Tech Enterprise as Chief Information Officer, bringing over 15 years experience in the IT field. The Centerport, NY, resident has a diverse industry background, having worked in banking, publishing, and entertainment, advertising, and communications. He spent over six years at BBDO Advertising in New York City. By contributing his abilities to companies such as Lehman Brothers, Golden Books Family Entertainment, BBDO, and Cablevision, Mr. Kohler has become a noted IT leader in operations, customer service, business continuity, infrastructure design, and deployment, telecom (VOIP) and application development.
Karen Sinda of Port Jefferson Station, NY has been promoted to Vice President Project Management and Business Solutions at Future Tech Enterprise. In her new role, Ms. Sinda will be responsible for evaluating and assessing internal business challenges for Future Tech’s Fortune 1000 client base. Her team will present customized information technology solutions that help improve business resilience, reduce costs and increase productivity. Prior to joining Future Tech, Ms. Sinda served as Senior IT Projects Manager for Browne Technical Enterprise, Director of Information Technology at Hirsch International Corp., and held top IT operations positions at COMFORCE Corporation in Woodbury, NY and Loop-Loc, Ltd. in Hauppauge, NY.
Catherine Calame has joined Future Tech Enterprise as Director of Marketing and Public Relations, bringing more than 15 years experience in advertising, marketing, and public relations to this growing IT solutions provider. The Bayport, NY, resident will be responsible for expanding the public relations efforts to include all media while helping fortify the Future Tech brand and supporting the sales team in their day-to-day responsibilities. Prior to Future Tech, Ms. Calame held positions in advertising, marketing, and public relations with organizations such as Viacom, MTV Networks, NBTY and the C.W. Post Campus of Long Island University. She holds a B.A. in English and Journalism and an MBA in Marketing.
Larry Zafrin joins Future Tech Enterprise as Director of Sales and New Business Development. The Bellmore, NY, resident will be responsible for expanding and fortifying an internal sales team comprised of regional and national account representatives. The team will handle the IT solutions needs of local accounts that include Eastern Suffolk BOCES, the NY Islanders, Keyspan, and Good Samaritan Hospital, as well as interact with Future Tech’s international partners that include Dell, HP, IBM, Brother, CA, Lenovo, and Cisco, among many others. Mr. Zafrin’s experience spans a wide range of roles in managing internal and external teams at IBM, with positions including Systems Engineer and Business Unit Sales Executive. Mr. Zafrin holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering as well as numerous awards for his leadership and successes.
