Minimizing Environmental Impact
Future Tech recognizes the need to protect the natural environment. We follow best practices when disposing garbage and/or using any chemicals.
Working with our carting companies, Future Tech now recycles more than 85% of our cardboard. This effort has helped Future Tech leave a smaller carbon footprint and significantly reduce waste that would ultimately go to a landfill.
We also enable our customers to minimize their environmental impact through creative packaging solutions and our range of IT Asset Disposition and Recycling services. We offer services such as Managed Pack & Ship Logistics, Transfer of Title/Ownership of Asset, Full Auditing & Reporting, Environmental Processing Documentation Zero Landfill Policy, and more.
Future Tech offers a series of IT Asset Disposition Solutions that are specifically designed to mitigate liabilities associated with technology. Our practices meet the stringent requirements of the US Department of Defense (5220.22M Compliant Standard), including the physical removal and destruction of all storage devices within technological assets.

Logistics, Packaging & Shipping
As part of our commitment to supply chain excellence, Future Tech supports environmentally friendly transport solutions. We have long-term strategic partnerships with leading shipping partners and, for many customers, we create customized smart packaging systems.
Today, more than 90% of our shipments are conducted with carriers that are enrolled in the EPA SmartWay Transport Partnership. Whenever we can, we utilize OEM manufacturer packaging for shipping technology products, instead of unboxing and re-boxing in new packaging. To increase capacity and maximize efficiency, we consolidate shipments and systematically evaluate dimensional weight to maximize shipping capacity. This commitment to transport efficiency enables Future Tech and its carriers to reduce CO2 emissions and minimize environmental impact.
Enhancing Efficiency
In our warehouse facilities, we utilize high-efficiency LED lights, which last up to 25 times longer than conventional lighting methods, and cuts energy usage by as much as 90%. All of our lighting fixtures are Energy Star rated products.
To reduce waste in all locations, Future Tech encourages employees to use reusable bottles and cups when refilling water or coffee from our cafe areas.
